Deer hunting is the most common thread in the fabric of American hunting culture, and once you've had a good taste of it, it's easy to see why that is. But just as all other enjoyable pursuits have become commercialized so has deer hunting. So much so that sometimes it's simplest components that make it such a great part of the human experience are lost within the market driven perspectives, products, and trends. Adam is a goat herdsman who uses his goat herd to restore native habitat throughout the midwest by grazing down competition from invasive plants. Our passion for conserving prairie ecosystems is what helped us cross paths which is when I found out that Adam loves hunting doves. He recently purchased an outfitted dove hunt in Argentina, the promised land of great dove hunting, and he joined me on the show to discuss his experiences.

Saddle hunting is the most ultralight method of mobile hunting, but the learning curve seems to be a barrier for many hunters.
