The First Gen Hunter Podcast

Yeah the title pretty much says it all. Noel is absolutely killing it! But there is a lot more to this conversation beyond just some big buck stories. We talk EHD, Climate Change, Crossbows, and just about everything else with hunting whitetails. I think you'll enjoy this conversation almost as much as I did.

Here's something all of us could use- a conversation on how to tactically adjust to the deer during the season. Johnny Stewart is an expert at this and has hunted some of the most heavily pressured areas in the country. He weighs in on how he makes his adjustments across the midwest and east as he chases whitetails throughout the season.

Nebraska is a favorite topic as of late, and hunting elk in Nebraska is just too cool to not discuss. Friend and long time listener Nate Dodson joined me and Caleb to talk about wildlife and hunting in Nebraska and gave us some much needed insight on hunting Nebraska mule deer!

This is a one of a kind conversation with Judd McCullum. We discuss what it means to live close to the land and why it's important to do so as hunters. One thing I didn't explain well enough during the podcast is that when we live close to the land we become better conservationists.
The conversation includes hunting stories, barn restoration work, and Judd's discovery of the biggest mammoth tusk ever found in Illinois!

It's been over two weeks into the season and it's been an odd one. The deer are tough to locate, but there's some good logic behind why I think that is.
